Joys of the Day!
-I woke up and put my clothes on and I was just sooo excited! A new week was starting at school and I couldn’t wait to see what was in store.
-A lot of my students weren’t there, which was sad, but for the ones who did come I enjoyed them!
-My students didn’t have there regular Monday morning drag.
-My 4th Period class had an amazing day! We have never gotten through that much stuff in one day! I was very proud of them and they could tell.
-Some of my students asked me to sit with them at lunch today.
-Laughing with my students.
Getting a lot of participation.
-Watching Freedom Writers.
-Hearing my students quote J. Cole.
-Helping students understand homework!
-Getting a student to take a picture.
-Our lovely staff meetings!
-Making up the teacher dance with Ms. Chelsea. For anyone who knows me, you know I can be super shy/scared when it comes to doing this kind of stuff in public, but I have really been trying to burst down that wall.
-Teaching the teacher dance. I cannot believe I did this.
-Having a very caring mom. I haven’t been feeling well for about a week now. My head, back, neck, and chest have been in pain for about a week. I thought I could just wait it out because I thought it was the way I was sleeping or whatever, but it never went away. I called her this morning and she just sounded so concerned. It’s great to know that I have someone who will ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS have my back!
-Having a caring Host-Mom. I asked her for the closest hospital and right away she jumped on it. She is a former Physician’s Assistant so I never made it to the hospital, but she thinks my muscles are super inflamed and put me on a regimen to get better. I know I will.
-Allowing myself to feel. I am glad I am in touch with my emotions and I let them come out. I don’t know how I could hold all of this stuff inside.
-Making an effort.
